Hi, I'm Pawanpreet, the founder of Khai Studio — a photographer drawn to weddings, especially Indian weddings. I'm not moved by scale or grandeur, but by what exists within them. A father letting go. A mother holding back. Two people beginning something they don't yet understand, but choose anyway.
In Indian weddings, I often find myself between two worlds — the nervous silences before the ceremony, and the loudest cheers after. A wedding, to me, is a balance of stillness and motion. Of what is held close, and what unfolds in between. My work is to preserve these moments as they are felt — quietly, honestly, and without interruption.
